The eventual goal of The Betterment Program is to help and unlock the potential within the world.
A few of our long term goals is to provide free global education, stop the mass selling of addictive, harmful substances, and prevent the furthering of climate change,
We hope to provide education globally, starting with presenting education within the heavily neglected third world countries and eventually working up to the first world. The very simple reason behind this is because most people within third world countries cannot afford nor receive high level education due to their location, this is simply locking away the potential within those countries given that highly intelligent and gifted people within these regions do not have access to the resources needed to reach what they could very possibly be. The fact that thousands of these potentially world changing people die every year without knowing what they could be is something we find very problematic.
Starting with stopping the mass production and selling of alcohol, we hope to stop the mass selling of all substances that are harmful and addictive, going in order of the most dangerous and widely used to the least dangerous and least used. You may ask "why alcohol, that's safe to use" and that's normal, everyone asks that, but then ask yourself how many people you know who are addicted to narcotics that began doing them whilst sober. The hard truth is that alcohol is heavily connected to most drug abuse, violence, and sexual crimes. It is incredible that alcohol is allowed to be mass produced and sold, the fact that they are not even warnings for the potential dangers of consumption is impossible for us to understand, and we hope this changes sooner rather than later.
Climate change being one of the largest and most neglected issues that is currently on this planet, we hope to eventually stop the progression of it, and maybe even reverse some of it. This will be done mainly through introduction of clean, sustainable energy, and researching ways to prevent further environmental damage.
